Recently it has become apparent that new houses built in the Mackay and Central Queensland area do not comply with the Building Code of Australia (BCA), namely cyclone building standards.  The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) has put in place an audit of houses built in such areas and will also be conducting a review of certification processes.
